DAR Presents the American Revolution Story Hour

The event is with the Children’s Department. There will be no registration required for the children and no charge for the event. The Ladies from the Daniel H. Brush Chapter NSDAR will come dressed in period clothing and read books of the time period of the Revolution to the children, bring some show and tell games and toys from the revolutionary time period to show and demonstrate to the children. Also, if allowed by the library, we will have Thomas Jefferson’s favorite macaroon cookies (which are gluten free) and a taste of Martha Washington’s Candy made by the ladies in the chapter.
